Alyssa's Law Texas

The Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida took the lives of 17 people children, and school staff members.  One of these victims, 14-year-old Alyssa Alhadeff, inspired a law, known as Alyssa’s law.

Alyssa’s law has been enacted in several states to ensure the fastest possible response time in the event of a life-threatening situation. Representative Shawn Theirry has introduced Alyssa’s law in Texas, and it is currently undergoing pending legislation.
