Alyssa's Law

On February 14th, 2018, 17 students and staff were killed, and 17 others were critically injured at Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.

The New York Times reported that poor communication, slow response time, and numerous other failures on behalf of law enforcement officers contributed to the devastating death toll.

Alyssa Alhadeff was only 14 years old when she lost her life during the Parkland Shooting. Alyssa’s law is a legislation that addresses the issues of law enforcement communication and response time during any life-threatening emergency on school property.
